OUR COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS

TDS Competitive Programs have been professionally designed to meet the needs of the most serious dancers. Our program works with passionate and talented students to build the skills they need to continue in a professional direction and excel in dance. We focus on providing a full dance education with a strong foundation in classical ballet and the most innovative & contemporary dance styles. Our students are further developed by progressing thru Examinations, working with Guest Faculty and attending customized workshops with industry professionals.

PRE COMPETITIVE for dancers 4-7 years | 2+ hours per week.
PART TIME for dancers 6 years and up | 3.5 – 6 hours per week.
FULL TIME for dancers 6 years and up | 8+ hours per week.

The TDS Faculty has been recognized for their outstanding choreography. Our students have won praise for their excellent technique and numerous awards & scholarships. Our highly qualified faculty creates an atmosphere that is professional, motivating & encouraging. Each faculty member is highly skilled in their discipline and we pride ourselves on remaining at the forefront of our industry and bringing new & progressive training techniques to TDS.

Kelly has been a professional freelance artist in Toronto since graduating with honours from Ryerson University’s Performance Dance program in 2010. She has also attended and trained at Quinte Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet and Springboard Danse Montreal.

Evan earned a BFA with honours from Marymount Manhattan College in 2016. While at Marymount, he danced in works by Dwight Rhoden, Paul Taylor, Aszure Barton, Desmond Richardson, and Alexandra Damiani.

Amanda Cleghorn is a well-rounded dancer, teacher, choreographer, and, overall, performer. Her credits include movies, Camp Rock 2, Make Your Move 3D, ABC’s Desperately Seeking Santa, and Honey and tv shows, The L.A. Complex, Canada’s Got Talent and Nikita.

Kerri Mezzomo is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, adjudicator, and examiner. She is a Jazz and Tap examiner and Vice President of the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (P.A.E.C.), and member of Dance Masters of America, Canadian Chapter # 38.

At the young age of two, Lindsay began her love for dance. She trained at C.B. Dance Academy in Richmond Hill, Ontario for eight years. She then moved to Elite Danceworx in Markham under the direction of Dawn Rappitt where she intensely furthered her training in all styles including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, acro, partnering and lifting, musical theatre, pointe and ballet.

Siona Jackson is a performer, choreographer, and dance instructor in Toronto. Born and raised in Prince George, B. C., she trained with Sonia Fabian in ballet, tap and jazz. Siona received honors through the Royal Academy of Dance and Dance Education Syllabuses, while having a successful competitive career in many provincial festivals and competitions.

STEPHEN ROBERTS

Stephen Roberts is an established performer, choreographer, adjudicator and dance educator. Stephen trained on full scholarship at Sheridan Institute’s Music Theatre – Performance Program as well as on full scholarship at the Performer’s Training Outlet in New York City. Stephen also studied Benesh Notation for Classical Ballet (RAD) through the University of Waterloo.
